Ghost Hunt with the 5 star Rated EXCELLENT Haunting Nights Team at the Medieval Llanyrafon Manor Farm in Monmouthshire South-eastern Wales

As the demand for Haunting Nights Ghost Hunts grows we came across the ancient Monks Manor Farm

This ancient manor house is just 19 miles south of one of our most popular location The Skirrid Inn and is as equally atmospheric with many chilling tales of unexplained happenings

Join Haunting Nights on this ghost hunt working in small investigation teams as we attempt to uncover the hauntings dating back to the late 1500s when the Griffiths family were in residence

There numerous areas to focus our ghost hunt on the original kitchens, the ancient hall, numerous bedrooms and attic space we also have access to the out buildings where the ghostly figure of a monk is seen to wander

Llanyrafon Manor is on the site of the farm for the monks of Llantarnam Abbey. When the monasteries were dissolved in 1530, the land was divided and the Griffith family built the Manor we see today

The ownership of the Manor remined in the Griffith family for many centuries and bore witness to several deaths and family disputes

In 1886, the estate was sold to the Laybourne family. Richard Laybourne purchased the Manor as a wedding present for his daughter Edith and her husband Alfred Pilliner. Alfred divided up the estate and it became a working farm. The east and west wings became cottages, while the north wing was converted into quarters for unmarried workers.

During the first World War, Llanyrafon Manor housed farm workers along with three Italian prisoners of war and Women’s Land Army members.

The Manor spent many years abandoned but is now under the wing of the local council due to its recognised historical importance
