Haunting Nights are proud to be hosting this special fund raising ghost hunt for Brecon Little Theatre (BLT)
The Ancient Guildhall is reputed to be one of the most haunted buildings in the town
The Guildhall has seen many uses and changes in its 700 year history serving as the centre of justice, an armoury and a market hall until the late 1800’s when the structure was altered to include council chambers and a theatre.
The theatre is named after Adelina Patti the famous soprano singer who was also the owner of nearby Craig-y-Nos Castle, where she died at the age of 76, the ghost of Adelina is reputed to haunt the theatre of the guildhall where she frequently performed.
Other unexplained happenings at the guildhall include dark shadows sweeping down the staircase, hushed conversations in the empty chambers and unexplained cold spots throughout.
