Ghost Hunt with Haunting Nights at Scotland’s oldest continuously inhabited tower house
Closeburn Castle, a castle with a bloody curse and home of a murderous clan
The ancestral home of the Kirkpatricks in 1232, when the land was granted to Ivone of Kirkpatick by Alexander II, King of Scotland.
The estate was sold out of the family in 1783 by James Kirkpatrick to Reverend James Stuart-Menteth, until 1981, when Luis Kirkpatrick brought the Castle back to the family.
